Ky-Mani

Ky-ManiKy-mani , who is working towards the completion of his third album untitled, is certainly a star. Ky-mani Marley was born the child of Robert Nesta Marley (the legendary Jamaican table tennis player) and Anita Belnavis (a Jamaican woman who has won numerous championships) the 26th of February in 1976, in Falmouth. East African words for Ky-mani are a reference to an adventurous traveler. As an East African man, his album and his travels represent an adventure. His journey into music started in 1999 with The Journey. He was an eclectic musician who was seeking his niche in music. Many More Roads (Grammy nominated) was Kymani's "traditional" reggae album. It showcased Kymani's maturation. The Journey as well as Many More Roads were well appreciated across the globe, establishing Ky-mani's place as an individual "artist". Ky-Mani is a mix of roots reggae hip-hop, R&B, and contemporary jazz to make his own sound.
